Quantum Energy Devices LLC (QED) announces the arrival of the new iQ Series product line.  First in the series is the MC 4-Way Hoist Controller – perfect for small motor rentals.  The ETL listed MC4-Way is a complete motor control and power distribution system, packaged in a rugged Pelican case.  The NEMA 1 enclosure, available in both 1Ø and 3Ø phase versions, is a simple, cost effective solution.  The unit is built to the highest construction standards, using over-rated components, a QED standard practice.  Neatly loomed with high-temperature wire, all connections are clearly labeled for reliability and ease of maintenance, the self contained system – with both control and distribution included in the package -  means that there are no pesky external accessories to keep track of.

With seven-pin SOC, seven-pin ¼ turn Veam and Double Hubble output connectors as standard outputs and bright neon indicators, the compact MC 4-Way is a must-have component in any motorized rigging inventory.    With a 100% rated main breaker and true mechanically linked phase reversing contactors – not two inexpensive contactors linked together and internally fused.   The controller is complete with large toggle switches, bright neon indicators and On, Off and Phase Reverse switches.  The format, design and layout of MC 4-Way reflects the years of touring experience of QED founder’s Paul Edwards.
